Accounting DesignationsOur PartnershipThe Queen's Accounting Association (QAA) aims to bridge the classroom with the industry. We strive to accomplish this by increasing the students' awareness for the accounting profession by featuring case competitions, workshops, networking events, and conferences hosted by our partners. Our overarching goal is to be as relevant a resource as possible for the student interested in pursuing accounting. Accordingly, we have diversified our events and expanded the scope of information that we provide. As of 2008, we have partnered with six firms: Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and RSM Richter. Additionally, we have partnered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO), the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario (CMA) and the Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA) to help students understand the benefits of and paths to achieve each respective designation. Together, we provide a unique series of events for Queen's students where they can make the most of their undergraduate experience in the accounting field.
